Jason Hope is an Internet entrepreneur that believes in philanthropy. In 2010, he donated $500,000 to the SENS Foundation for research on fighting age related disease. This organization does research on rejuvenating bio-technologies for illness that affect older people. The organization’s doctor Dr. Audbery de Grey’s does research on heart disease, diabetes,and Alzheimer’s disease.
Jason believes that we need to create a new biotech industry and creating SENS fit into that plan. They do public research and outreach in the field rejuvenation bio-technologies. His contribution was to used for research on several different diseases and projects the organization was working on.
This past year in 2016 Jason gave the SENS Foundation a larger donation for research and startups. They organization also receives funding from individual donors, and foundations. They currently hope to raise $50 million with their Project 21 campaign.
In 2015 SENS researchers discovered a key molecule involved in diabetes inflammation and human aging. This helps researchers study the role it plays in human health and finds way to stop or reverse its formation. Jason Hope wants consumers to know that the research is about living a better quality life not living forever.
He likes to support their research to find cures for diseases that cause old age. They try to find ways to prevent the disease from developing. Jason Hope has worked and donated to the Boy’s and Girls Club, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s, Family Health International,The World’s Health Organization,and many other organizations.
Jason Hope received a degree in finance from Arizona State University and an MBA from the W.P Carey School of Business at Arizona State. He has worked in technology in research and development.
Jason has developed mobile applications, desktop software, gaming software, and devices that connect people to each other and uses technology to improve the human condition. He continues to do so and has a bright future.
